Weekend

I hope everyone had a relaxing weekend! My sister and Max came to stay with us for two days before they embarked on their journey to the gulf shores, AL. Long story short they came alone until David joined them here for 9 hours :) We had fun by playing outside, visiting a splash pad, walking, and just hanging! They kept me and Hadley company while James worked late night.

James unfortunately didn't have a labor free labor day weekend because he worked at the house! We knew we had to do it this weekend because he gets no free time during the week. He did such a great job laying the tile! Here is the progress so far. He needs to just finish up by grouting and then we're going to bit by bit add the last finishing touches.

We are going to add mosaic tile to the tub front and also I ordered a new shower head to spiffy it up. I'd like to put the floating shelves and baskets up soon to finish it out. I also need to take this cotton coil I got and soak it in bleach to see if I can get the nastiness out of the tub tile area.

Hadley wanted to help out so here she is trying :) Isn't she the cutest.

Oh and Miss Hadley decided she wanted to stand up when she was finished with her nap so now this is how she tells me she is ready for me to get her, silly girl.
