New chairs

I've talked before about our bases' Facebook swap pages. They've been great and I've gotten some great deals. I saw these chairs on here and I KNEW I had to have them. They were 2 for $100.00 which seems steep BUT you'll never get this quality of a chair for that amount of money. This is a good base for swap pages because people are constantly moving due to the students here only staying for a year before moving onto their permanent bases.

I'm putting them in our office for now. I wanted them as two accent chairs facing the front of the desk. James wanted one as the seat and one in the corner...... that's until he went to work :)

Don't they look like they fit right in?!

In reality, no one will ever seat like that in those chairs, but they look great!

Hadley had to check them out because she loves ANY chair

and Maddie didn't want to miss out on them either. Bella the cat has already had a good night's rest on them as well and they all approve! What do you think?!

Warm weather and odds n ends

We've been having some GREAT weather the last 10 days or so..... until today BOOOOOO. Hadley could LIVE outside, she loves it and we basically have been outside every chance we got.

Daddy and Hadley making faces at each other

Hadley loves picking up sticks
These are only HALF the leaves from our yard. James is going to bag the rest next weekend to break it up.

Hadley was a GREAT helper (until she started taking them back out)

All that yard work tuckered her out! She fell asleep on the way to lunch and didn't even wake up
after we got her out of the car like she usually does. You should have seen her when we had to wake her up to eat. She was all like how in the world did I get here!
Enjoying the park swing

We love being outside, but Miss. Hadley has not gotten over the "I love to put everything in my mouth, including dirt, rocks, leaves, acorns, sticks......" phase. Seriously, it's CONSTANT. We have sure loved the 60 degree days but we have a busy week of lunch dates, play dates, grocery store, and other activities to fill up our time. She's been a talking machine lately, her newest is "mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy" over and over. It's funny because she usually says momma.

Enjoy the rest of your week! Sorry about the blog shortages. During Hadley's naps I usually cut her weekly fruit/veggie mixes to snack on, dinner prep, clean,  or lately I have also been researching our spouse's girls weekend trip. I have book club tonight and I'm co-hosting our squadron spouses' social Thursday night, so we'll be busy busy busy.

Hadley is 15 months old!

My sweet baby girl is 15 months old. I just would like to bottle her up and keep her this way! She is so fun to hang out with (most the time haha). Let me just tell you, she was WAYYY over this photo shoot so I barely have any useable photos. Good thing I'm not still taking formal monthly photos because she isn't having it!

also her Valentine's day outfit (hearts are on her leggings)
Stats:
Height- 30 3/4" 50th percentile
Weight- 23 1/2 pounds (with clothes) 50th percentile
Head Circumference- 46 cm about 18 inches

Eating-
She's still breastfeeding twice a day (morning and night) but about to drop that down to one soon
Hadley still loves eating MOST foods but is getting picky about her vegetables. Her favorite food is turkey, avocados, noodles, most fruits (esp. grapes-cut a lot- don't worry) and LOVES goldfish crackers, oh and SMOOTHIES (spinach, grapes, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and almond milk)

Sleeping-
Hadley is down to one nap now at 1pm that usually lasts an hour and a half and on the RARE good day 2 hours (I'm hoping to extend this to a consistent 2 but we'll see).
Bedtime is a little earlier since she's up earlier from her last nap so about 7:30pm and usually up at 7 although this past week was in the 6 hour (she's had a cold so I'm hoping the 6 hour doesn't stick too much longer)

New developments-
She now has THREE molars! she's a crazy teeth grower :) She says words like "baby" "ball" "bye bye" but never does any of these when you want her too.
Hadley loves tickle tickling and get you get you get you, she'll even tickle you through the computer haha

Hadley also loves reading books now! She'll usually come over and bring me one to read or she'll just sit alone and "read" to herself. She also LOVES giving hugs, playing outside (no matter what the temperature is), and dancing!

She also loves being naughty and mischievous ;)

cute spring outfits for little miss

I was thinking that myself and Hadley are in a clothing rut. I have made more of an effort to not just throw on jeans, tshirt and sneakers when we go out. I actually dress and what not. So I thought it was time for Hadley to get out of her onesie and pants rut as well. Since Hadley grows like crazy, I don't like spending too much money on clothing. Most of these outfits I like are layers and you can mix and match! We only have a couple clothing stores in town so it's not like i'm buying crazy expensive things. These outfits all come from the Old Navy website. They currently are having a sale on baby clothes so we may head on in!

Can't go wrong with a jean jacket, dress, and leggings!

again jean jacket, and color jeans BOOM

just adorbs!

I recently got her a couple pairs of shoes from a store called "dirt cheap". It's "worse" than big lots in the sense of DIGGING through a lot of stuff, but I got her children's place and target shoes for 10 dollars total! You can't beat that!

*Update* Old Navy was/is having a baby/kids sale 30-50% off items so we got some cute things! of course they did not have any of these at my local store so we improvised.

don't mind the blurriness or one sock off, it's how we roll

She loves her new jean jacket!

cold weather

Again, sorry for the blog hiatus. Hadley went down to one nap so my "breaks" have been cut down. I now have to shower while Hadley's awake (I put her with snacks and toys in the pack and play in the bathroom with me). Sometimes she naps an hour sometimes it's longer. We're still sorting it out but we are loving the longer awake session we're getting in the mornings. We go to play dates, library, playgrounds, and all sorts of things. I have been chasing Hadley all over the place so I haven't had much time to take too many pictures while we're out galavanting.

Last week we got a FEW flurries outside! They were nothing to write home about but hadley did notice them after a while.

all bundled and yes still in pjs

I broke out my wellies and LOVE them. I recently wore them to a Super Bowl party in the POURING rain and they were USEFUL and a hit.

you can see the snow flakes if you squint haha

Hadley loves being outside and threw many fits when we went in

She's just so cute

This is our neighbors house, you can see the snow on the driveway and roof.

We had some warm temperatures over the weekend but we're back to chilly temps. but no snow.
