FALL is here!!

I am glad we were able to be here in MS for some fall because we just love our local pumpkin patch! All of the activities you see are free! They do charge small fees for the maize, pony, and barrel rides on weekends. We already have 2 more plans to go to the patch and Hadley had a ball! We went with some friends in the squadron for a kids afternoon play date. It started out pretty warm, but cooled off nicely.

She LOVES "horseys" and even recognized a straw one!

She played in candy corn and on tire swings plus a barrel slide (not pictured)

Just look at my cute girl in her Doc Mcstuffins halloween shirt with fall bow, can't beat that :)

Hadley's 21 and 22 month old quick shoot

Hadley girl is growing fast. We haven't been to the doctor and I keep forgetting to measure her so I may or may not have unofficial stats.

LOVES
Hadley loves to DANCE and play under blankets. She's been trying to sing lately and it's just so cute. She loves her puppy, Maddie and kitty, Bella. Hadley also loves throwing tantrums when something doesn't go her way (like getting the stroller stuck on a corner or when she's frustrated).

HATES
She hates being told no and also not getting her way. Hadley hates being without snacks :) Overall, she's a pretty happy gal.

EATING
She's still a pretty good eater but definitely pickier. Hadley does not care for vegetables at all except for peas and edamame. She drinks coconut milk at dinner and almond milk in smoothies or cereal.

SLEEPING
Hadley still sleeps great at night from 7:30pm-7:15ish am. Her naps leave less to be desired. I am lucky if I get an hour out of her. Some days she surprises me with an hour and a half but that's rare. I won't complain because she's normally happy with a short nap plus she sleeps all night so could be worse.

'

She loves playing with her friends and going to playgrounds. I can't believe she's almost two. I'm thinking about her birthday party and I remember just planning her 1 year old stuff so I don't know how this is even possible.

Our first and last Air Force Ball

We decided we were going to go OUT in style since James is getting out of the air force in two months. Every year each base hosts a ball where you dress up and be fancy. At our last base, it seemed that only "important" people went and it just wasn't a thing done by our friends. THIS base however is way different. People just like to have fun here :) I guess that happens when it's such a small town (even though are last base was too). Last year we didn't go because we were like surely no ones going. Turns out a ton of people went and we said we wanted to this year. So we did! James had a "party" shirt made because that's what you're supposed to do? and most guys (and GALS too!) had them if they were in this uniform.

I had like one picture of him without his jacket on so I made him pose the next day with it.

Basically it's business with the jacket on and party with it off :) They are C-130 airplanes on the fabric (which is the military plane he flew and will be flying in the guard coming up).

Don't mind the sun.... here's our selfie on the way to the ball!

Some buzzsaw ladies, turns out a few people are missing that were there... bathroom maybe?

This year the ball was in an airplane hangar, but had some LARGE fans and maybe some A/C but I guess people were HOT. I did not notice at all since our table was literally seated directly in front of a fan, plus a bar.... it was like we won the lottery

I had emerald green earrings on to match that blinging ring but it blended in too much with my hair, too bad because they were really big and pretty, guess the light didn't hit it right.

I wore a bridesmaid dress (actually my sister's because the one I had I had shortened for a christmas party a few years ago). So it only cost me some for alterations but nothing crazy. I was the cheap date! James' uniform he ended up renting because after almost 10 years in the air force he got away with never needing this formal attire.

These were some of our table mates and fellow black dress lady. We decided to prom style photo op.

Most of the buzzsaws! Minus a couple who again didn't get the memo or were in the bathroom like this guy's wife on the end who is not pictured (she is preggo so I'm guessing bathroom).  OH and ignore my husband who is apparently talking to someone because he didn't get the memo to look at the camera.

Everybody really looked great. It was a very fun time, glad we got to experience one. CHEERS!
