The Wonder Place!

Well sorry for the blog gap! I've been SUPPPPPPER busy. More on that later, let's just say we have made our way back to our permanent residency! woohooo

One of our last fun outings in Little Rock was to The Wonder Place which is just like a hands-on kid's museum but it's ALL toddler friendly. I waited to go on a military day and I got in free (which is how it should always be if you don't want me to drop my kid off and leave her but I digress). Hadley had a ball and loved EVERY SECOND of it. We were the only ones in there for a while but then only a couple others showed up.

but let's be honest.... her favorite part was this cool seat in the bathroom haha

and this water table!

She loved the sand table too and this was the first time she didn't try to eat it! My little girl is growing up :)

She's in the grocery store

super girl!

Such a big girl! Says she's 3 feet tall! I still don't understand why she is so tall :)

We can't wait to explore fun things to do while in our new place but we are busy unpacking and getting ready for another trip!

Some Easter festivities

James had to work the Saturday before Easter (don't feel bad for us, he was off for the whole week before basically) so he isn't in any of the festivity photos. I included him and Hadley from the weekend before's egg hunt.

Hadley and I attended an on base family festival with lots of people, games, bounce houses, Easter bunnies, and whatever else you could want. It started out a tad chilly and windy but turned out nice.

Getting ready to run for eggs!

She was way more into it this time around.

She even asked to go sit with the Easter bunny. Although this was NOT the bunny she wanted. It started out as a cute baby girl bunny and one person before us in line, THEY SWITCHED.

I had about two minutes to bribe convince her that she'd be sitting there, after all we waited like a half hour! It didn't take much and she did so well! She's such a big girl now, I can't believe it.

There was even a portable fish tank there! She loved them.

Car selfie before we left, all wind blown (and jean jacket twinsies)

The next day we went to find her Easter basket, filled with lots of non-candy treats! We decided no on the candy because she got a bunch with her eggs she found the last weekends plus she doesn't understand "only one".

Daddy made Easter bunny pancakes and eggs.

We colored Easter Eggs too! It went pretty well. But if you know Hadley then you'll understand why being fully naked was required.

Best dollar store egg kit ever! We definitely hit all the traditional Easter activities and had some fun. We smoked a brisket and made a ham with some of James' buddies. All in all a good "away from home" Easter.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE

We took Hadley to an Easter egg hunt last weekend and she was pretty excited. It ended up raining right before it started so they moved it indoors at a community center.

She looked so cute, she insisted on accessorizing with her necklace and bracelet too

She barely got any eggs though. She seriously was too busy watching all the other kids that she couldn't focus. We should have grabbed a bunch like every other parent did.... some kids baskets were OVERFLOWING. It was annoying and the whole thing was a tad ghetto... but what do you expect for Arkansas.... I'M KIDDING (sorta)

cutie pie

And yes it was super cold that day 50s no sun haha

Hadley was VERY interested in the Easter bunny... but definitely made sure made it clear she did not want to be alone with him.

Pretty trees right now

We may hit up another Easter egg hunt this weekend on base... James has to work Saturday (don't feel bad he worked only one day this week.....)
