Hadley's 4 year old post

Yes, we're still alive. I wanted to document Hadley's milestones so I'm blogging for her :) I just don't feel like blogging too much lately, although a lot has been going on. So follow me on instagram or facebook for more updated information.

I can't believe my princess is 4 years old already! Hadley is becoming the sweetest big girl ever.

Stats:
Hadley is 41 inches tall!! 85th percentile.... tall as usual :) People think she is way older than she is because of her height.
She weighs 38 pounds and is in the 71st percentile.
She is just growing like a weed and is perfect in every way!

We celebrated part of her birthday by a movie to see Trolls! (she's into this thing now where she is facing the camera but refuses to look.....)
Sleep:
She gave up naps a loooooong time ago. Just after her 3rd birthday and hasn't had one since. Hadley's in bed around 7:30/8pm and sleeps til 7 (sometimes later or earlier give or take). She wakes up sometimes in the middle of the night for one reason or another but she's usually pretty good to sleep all night.

Potty Training:
I'm copying everything I did for her 3 year old post so I can compare and I am happy to report that she is FULLY potty trained. She has been for a while, just after her 3rd birthday it really clicked. She occasionally has an incident where she couldn't hold it or had to go more than she thought.

Likes:
Hadley is still obsessed with baby dolls, she has converted back to loving pink (good thing because her room has pink stuff). She is a girly girl who still loves dressing up and being a princess. A big new love is SCHOOL!
I knew she would do well but she has exceeded my expectations. We started her this year at a mother's day out program at the church right down the road from our house. It's MWF 9:30-1:30. I thought she'd (at first) give me a hard time about dropping her off and give some tears.... but nope NOT ONE ever. She LOVES it. Loves her teachers LOVES the kids and it seems that she's miss. popular, everyone's parents always tell me their kid talks about Hadley all the time. I am so glad she is flourishing like I knew she could.
She loves playing outside with neighbors, cousins and friends. She absolutely adores her cousins Max and Coco and they get along for the most part :)

Hadley throws the occasional tantrum when you tell her no (usually no you can't have any more chocolate or no that shoe is on the wrong foot or no you can't sit in the middle or no you can't have the blue chair/plate/spoon-cousin fights). You can usually calm her down quick or a time out may be in order.

Hadley has such an imagination and can play alone for hours with her princess figurines and barbies. I guess that's one benefit of being an only child, she can surely entertain herself. We have the best of time together and she is still my little buddy. She enjoys shopping with me and running any errands. She could be gone all day from the house and be perfectly happy. There isn't many places she can't/won't go. We love our baby girl and have enjoyed every minute with our fancy four year old!

Hadley's 3rd birthday party

We decided to keep the Disney high going and throw Hadley a minnie/mickey birthday extravaganza at our house. We've met a bunch of friends at gymnastics and in the neighborhood so we thought, why not. We did have some sick kiddos who couldn't make it so it wasn't as crazy as it could have been!

I printed this birthday banner and hung it on the hubby cubby. It is the perfect place to hang all my banners.

We had a coloring station

Minnie and Mickey homemade ears for the kiddos favors (and to wear)

Max trying out our photo station area

party decor! We moved the living room around and it made it so much bigger, we loved it and almost left it permanently.

bestie cousins (coco bean was one of the suckers poor thing)

Disney Day 3! and Hadley's birthday!

We had a fun filled LONG full day at the Magic Kingdom planned for her birthday. We started the day with balloons that my mom and cousins arranged from the hotel.

We headed to Belle and the Beasts castle for our Be Our Guest Lunch. We've concluded this was the best food we had the whole trip. I bet dinner would have been superb (next time!)

Hadley talked to Lumiere before going in :)

I was obsessed (still am) with taking pictures by christmas trees (I was looking for best ones for our card this year). This one was in the grand ball room of the castle.

It's my birthday I'll pout if I want to (I wanted to show you the ballroom we ate in), she wasn't really pouting just didn't want to take the picture

There were two other rooms you could eat in, one was the beasts area and it was dark and spooky in there!

My yummy lunch

The birthday girl

Right after lunch we had a fast pass for right next door at the Enchanted Tales with Belle. It was the highlight of my trip, I really liked how interactive it was. James even got chosen as one of the Knights.

We made a stop to see the Fairy God Mother, we were in line for the step-sisters but they took a break but Hadley was happy to see her.

Counting her birthday 3 fingers!

loving the hugs

Hadley went on her first real roller coaster, too. and it went FAST. I was holding her down haha

She loved it... but did have some worry faces. She did cry when it was over.... but because she didn't want to get off :)

the castle!

I have a better pic of the castle but I'll show you on Christmas!

We had dinner at the Crystal Palace buffet where we met all the Winnie the Pooh characters.

Hadley was a pro at meeting characters and had so much fun. (although she wanted to finish eating before greeting anyone... haha girl loves her food)

They were filming for a disney show and we got to see them light the castle like 5 times that night with the frozen cast on stage.... that was pretty cool.

Had a visit with Tink!

We ended the birthday day with a visit to Mickey and he talked! He even sang her happy birthday!

What a great fun birthday! Too bad she won't remember it, but I have the best pictures!

This photo was taken around 8:30 pm she looks whipped. We went right out for the parade and intended to stay for fireworks but we couldn't hang.

She's such a big girl, I could barely hold her like my baby!

She was OUT. Started on the bus ride back to hotel and then the long walk back to the room plus we got her in jammies and such. It was comical.
