I can't believe my princess is 4 years old already! Hadley is becoming the sweetest big girl ever.
Stats:
Hadley is 41 inches tall!! 85th percentile.... tall as usual :) People think she is way older than she is because of her height.
She weighs 38 pounds and is in the 71st percentile.
She is just growing like a weed and is perfect in every way!
| We celebrated part of her birthday by a movie to see Trolls! (she's into this thing now where she is facing the camera but refuses to look.....) |
She gave up naps a loooooong time ago. Just after her 3rd birthday and hasn't had one since. Hadley's in bed around 7:30/8pm and sleeps til 7 (sometimes later or earlier give or take). She wakes up sometimes in the middle of the night for one reason or another but she's usually pretty good to sleep all night.
Potty Training:
I'm copying everything I did for her 3 year old post so I can compare and I am happy to report that she is FULLY potty trained. She has been for a while, just after her 3rd birthday it really clicked. She occasionally has an incident where she couldn't hold it or had to go more than she thought.

Hadley is still obsessed with baby dolls, she has converted back to loving pink (good thing because her room has pink stuff). She is a girly girl who still loves dressing up and being a princess. A big new love is SCHOOL!
I knew she would do well but she has exceeded my expectations. We started her this year at a mother's day out program at the church right down the road from our house. It's MWF 9:30-1:30. I thought she'd (at first) give me a hard time about dropping her off and give some tears.... but nope NOT ONE ever. She LOVES it. Loves her teachers LOVES the kids and it seems that she's miss. popular, everyone's parents always tell me their kid talks about Hadley all the time. I am so glad she is flourishing like I knew she could.
She loves playing outside with neighbors, cousins and friends. She absolutely adores her cousins Max and Coco and they get along for the most part :)
Hadley throws the occasional tantrum when you tell her no (usually no you can't have any more chocolate or no that shoe is on the wrong foot or no you can't sit in the middle or no you can't have the blue chair/plate/spoon-cousin fights). You can usually calm her down quick or a time out may be in order.
Hadley has such an imagination and can play alone for hours with her princess figurines and barbies. I guess that's one benefit of being an only child, she can surely entertain herself. We have the best of time together and she is still my little buddy. She enjoys shopping with me and running any errands. She could be gone all day from the house and be perfectly happy. There isn't many places she can't/won't go. We love our baby girl and have enjoyed every minute with our fancy four year old!
