Hadley's 2!

Here's Hadley's official 2 year old blog post. I can't believe she's two, feels like she just came home with me. In the weeks leading up to her 2nd birthday, Hadley's speech really took off! She speaks in sentences and you can actually understand her!

Stats:
She is in the 75th percentile for weight at 28 pounds 12 ounces!
Hadley is in the 95th percentile for height! She was 36 inches tall (although I think some of that was her crazy curly hair!)
I really thought she's plateaued off since she wasn't growing out of her clothes so fast... but they all came in at the doctor's saying holy cow growth spurt but it's been like 6 months so that's to be excepted but who knows.

Eating:
Hadley has been getting very picky as she's gotten older. She doesn't love vegetables but as you read earlier she's doing great stat wise, so we get the healthy stuff in and go from there. She gets coconut milk and almond milk (with cereal).

Sleeping:
Hadley sleeps great at night from 7:30pm-7ish in the morning. She started recently "stalling" by saying "I need water, I need water". Sometimes she wakes in the middle of the night looking for her paci and I've had to go in and hand it to her and "rock the baby' which she also requests. (ps. she is the baby she is referring to). I don't mind because how much longer am I going to get to rock my baby! and NO I'm never giving up the paci!! ok maybe one day, but we have some road trips/moves planned and I'm not ready to tackle that or potty training either, even though she has gone on the potty numerous times.

Newest Developments:
Hadley has always been a chatty cathy but lately you can actually understand her! She repeats everything and is becoming very clear. She even sang happy birthday to herself! I'm hoping now that she has this vocabulary maybe she will start communicating with me instead of throwing tantrums?? (one can hope right?)

In the middle of our crazy move that we just did, we threw hadley a Frozen themed birthday party!

this is seriously Maddie at 10 weeks old, she is just the cutest thing EVER
